"Laura, the baby just hit me!" wailed a voice from the living room.

Laura sighed and left her spelling homework on the dining table.

"Okay, what happened here?"

"I was building a castle when baby knocked it over and hit me!" Her brother said, face red.

"A-guh?" Cora gurgled, and threw the wooden block she was gumming.

It hit Derek’s leg, and his face crumpled. "She did it again!"

"Derek," Laura put on her long-suffering big sister voice. "You're five. How will you survive kindergarten if you let Cora bully you?"

Derek rubbed his eyes. "But you'll be there, Laura."

"Danny can get away with the Hot Girl dance. I look stupid if I just stand there and sway." Stiles sulked.

"I don't know why you picked me for help," Scott said. "It's not like dancing comes included with the werewolf package."

"I bet Peter's having a ball," Stiles said darkly, slotting his arms around Scott's waist. "This is all his fault."

Scott didn't ask why. Alpha pack? Peter's fault. Fairies? Peter's fault. Global warming? Peter's fault.

"So, do I lead because I'm the werewolf, or you because you're taller?"

"Just don't trip," Stiles said, moving them to the left.

The figure emerged from under the slides. "Is too!"

Jackson scrunched up his nose. "You're wearing orange. Batman doesn't wear orange."

"Mom said I can wear any color and still be Batman if I have my Batman ring on." He held out a blue plastic ring.

"I don't want your stupid ring." Jackson stalked off.

Batman Stilinski sighed. He spotted a brown-haired boy nearby.

"Hi, I'm Batman. Wanna play?"

Scott smiled. "Hi, Batman. What are we gonna play?"
